How to Find a Missing iPhone

If you lose your SHDS-provided iPhone you can locate it using the Find My feature in iCloud.com.

 

  1. In your web browser, go to https://icloud.com and log in with your Apple ID and password. You must know your ID and password to log in. The CSG helpdesk cannot reset this password for you.

     

  2. Once you’ve logged in, click the Find My icon.

     

  3. iCloud will attempt to find your phone. You’ll see a compass and a message that it’s locating the phone.

     

  4. Once the phone is located, you’ll see its location on a map.

     

  5. You can have the phone play a sound to help you locate it once you’re in its vicinity.

     

If the phone is irretrievable lost, please let the helpdesk know. While you can enable lost mode on the phone, this is best done by the helpdesk.
