How to Install Cisco Jabber

To install Cisco Jabber on your Windows computer, please follow these instructions on UC Davis’s Service Hub site: Installing Cisco Jabber.

Please download the setup files as indicated and then submit a helpdesk request to have it installed, or update your existing request to let us know the files have been downloaded. We’ll connect remotely to do the installation.

You will not be able to install the software without administrator credentials. Only the helpdesk can do this part.

 

After the helpdesk has installed Jabber, please have a manager submit a Tririga request to have Jabber activated.

There is a $26 fee for enabling Jabber, so a manager must request the activation.
