How to Register and Enroll in Keywatcher
Visit any KeyWatcher machine throughout our system.
Tap the Start button on the home screen and log in with your provided username and password. This username and password should be provided by your manager.
The screen below will, appear asking you to enter a new PIN. Tap the top grey box to open a numerical keyboard and enter your new PIN using the number keys.
Tap Done.
Repeat these steps for the second grey box.
Tap Save.
Now, you are ready to enroll your fingerprints. Pick your favorite finger to register as your “First Finger” in the system.
The fingerprint reader will turn red, which indicates it’s ready to scan your fingerprint for the first time. Place your finger on the reader to start the process. Repeat this step two additional times. You will see Place finger on platen (# of 3) appear below your fingerprint scan.
After you’ve completed all three scans, the screen below will appear. Capture Complete will indicate that your scans were successful.
You will now enroll a second finger. Tap Enroll Second Finger and follow the previous steps to enroll this second finger. It’s strongly recommended that you enroll a finger on your other hand.
If you’re satisfied with your scans and it has registered, tap Assign/Update User Data. The system will assign your fingerprints to your user ID in the database.
Once you’re done with enrolling your first and second fingerprints, tap the < arrow to take you back to the home screen.
Log out of the system and test your fingerprint by logging back in.
Changing your PIN
Log into any KeyWatcher system.
At the screen below, tap Change PIN.
Tap the grey New PIN box.
Using the on-screen keypad, type in the new 4-digit PIN. Tap Done when complete.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 using the New PIN (again) field.
Tap Save PIN Changes to save the new PIN.
The next time you login in, your new PIN must be used.
If you forget your PIN, the Access & Security team can reset it for you; please submit a Work Order to request this.
