Unable to Assign Access Level on Laptop in Lenel OnGuard

When using a 13" laptop, user is unable to assign an access level in System Administration. When selecting Modify, the section of the screen that displays the access levels to be selected obscures the ‘Okay’ button preventing user from finalizing the assignment.

 Instructions

This tends to be a windows compatibility issue. Here are the steps to make Lenel and Windows display properly.

  1. Under "All Apps" or "Programs" expand the "OnGuard" folder.

  2. Right click "Alarm Monitoring" and select "Go to File Location."

  3. Right click "Alarm Monitoring" and select "Properties."

  4. Click the "Compatibility" tab.

  5. At the bottom of the window, click "Change settings for all users."

  6. At the bottom of the window, click "Change high DPI settings."

  7. At the bottom of the window, check the "Override high DPI..." check box.

  8. Click the drop down list under the check box and select "System."

  9. Click "Ok."

10. Click "Apply."
11. Click "Ok."

Launch "Alarm Monitoring" and if the screen looks like it should, follow the same steps for "System Administration."
