1. Connect to Door Access Client (How to access Door Access Client)

2. There will be a menu on the left side of the screen – look for the section named General.

3. Click Resident Access under General

4. Select a Card Type

   1. Default is for Aggie & Temp Cards which will use their Student ID number

   2. Lockout Cards will search the Card Log using the card ID number

   3. No card is basically the same as Aggie & Temp Cards

5. Use one of the three Input Methods

Entry not found error

Not able to find an in room (INRM) or reserved (RESV) booking in StarRez

• verify the SID is correct

• check StarRez and verify that they have a booking

• verify their check-in date is not in the future

• call Housing Admin front desk if StarRez correction is required

Kerberos not found

Likely but not always due to their UCD computing account not being fully setup

• ask resident to reset their kerberos password and make sure to check the propagate change to all systems box at https://computingaccounts.ucdavis.edu/
