First Presentation of Sakai to Faculty |
In this meeting on Friday, October 14 we discussed teaching and technology at UC Davis and how The Teaching Resources Center and Information and Educational Technology's Mediaworks Unit are teaming up to determine and implement the best approaches to support innovative and effective teaching on our campus. We described how we are forming a number of working groups, and will be inviting faculty to participate in the shaping of our faculty support priorities and programs. We described some of the latest instructional technology to arrive at our campus (Macromedia Breeze), and provided a sneak preview of the course management system for MyUCDavis 2.0 (to be released a year from now). |
