Status of Opteron servers >>
— Stubing is set up but has the wrong version of TomCat. Stubing is our Demo / pilot app server. We agreed on this terminology.
— Isaac finally arrived 1/4/06 and will be cloned hopefully soon. This is the devel app server.
— Bricker, the database server. Geeta completed the Oracle installation for the Demo / pilot instance and turned it over to the application programmers . Bricker will also house the development database instance.

Memory purchases >>
— Not done yet but will happen today.

Status of RAC for the Sakai database environment >>
— Consultant has Course management nodes and database set up in RAC.
— Consultant fixed what was wrong with the Mothra nodes and database installation in RAC.
— Consultant is now documenting his process and procedures for all that he accomplished.

Next steps for hardware set up >>
— Test the connections
— Sign off on the set up
— Write a Service Level Agreement
— For now we are postponing the decision to purchase production hardware
