VetMed Developers Meeting

Chris B. - Training for instructors completed; 1 instructor using Assignments w/grades - aware grades will not push to GradeBook. Site Info issue - instructor, while adding another user, lost her membership; could not replicate failure. Superuser access may not fully replicate user experience.

Ray - Adding waiting list students to roster - need to check performance to confirm it's working properly.

Scott - Working w/eval guys on Hibernate (team is using versions not available yet in sakai.) Collab team progress vs. VM local implementation of evals: at a decision point for going forward - needs team review. (Spring quarter using current evaluation system - Chris will add link as iFrame for pilots - w/custom question for CERE feedback)

Chris - Training: need to show students & faculty how to hide tabs, since all quarters currently being pulled show up - lots of courses listed for students. Want to hide, but not unjoin due to GradeBook integration.

Phil - Working on adding a white list (administrators to not be affected during user batch runs); will work on scheduling next.

Rick - Captivate movies are moving along; will forward links to SWF files to team. SWF's scale nicely. Some functions will require multiple movies to keep movies as small (time length) as possible. e.g., creating an announcement, deleting an announcement, etc., so script list is longer than originally anticipated. 3 movies completed, others pending audio edits. Beau assisted in working out interface issues which were holding up production. Help movies are for administrators only. Help needed for students? probably not.

Ray - Meeting with Nancy & Chris S.; MW has a long list of movies to generate; Rick - process will take some time due to full tool list and scripting approval process; Ray iterated in meeting - no chrome, no skin, no logos to make Help movies generic for both systems.

Keith - Ilios functional; basic security implemented; adding add'l security layer and tools, such as authoring for editing; Chris working on superuser/admin functions. Chris training Erin on schedule tool in sakai as she may need to do occasional post-scheduling changes.
