Hack to Generate Site Statistics

The following is an example of generated site statistics:

Total Requests: 156
Created: 127
Waitlist: 009
Hold: 009
Needs Follow Up: 002
Approved: 003
Withdrawn: 004
None: 002

These can be pulled from the spread sheet using the following hack:

  • Copy the entire status column from the tracking spreadsheet

  • Paste list into notepad to remove formatting

  • Copy notepad contents to Word

  • Select: Tools > Sort > OK (This alphabetizes the list)

  • Copy all entries of the one status (e.g. CREATED) back into an empty Excel column.

  • The number of the last cell represents the number of created sites of this status

  • Repeat for each status.
