VetMed Developer's Meeting
CERE - Scott
Current status for developers includes confirming fixes in roster and checking gradebook to confirm final grade submission to MyUCDavis works - need to confirm CERE code is pointing to production;
Development Planning - Ray
Team needs to write up list of loopholes to close; Chris has documented gaps in Confluence which provides some of this information for CERE status. Team needs to do the same for other systems, i.e., CREST, etc.
Team to look at going to v2.3/2.4 over the summer. Need to work on documentation for all systems.
Eval - Scott, Phil
Updates on Eval completed for reporting. The interface is visible to instructors for their results. Will print out eval results from CERE system for Jan for review. Ready to start looking at v1.5 eval changes.
Ray - Dec. 22nd will close all evals; need to harvest evals in early January. Need to merge/combine the 2 reports (new eval pilots and old system) together.
Systems - Beau
Gradebook - Need to change url to point to prod, not test; will check with Brian regarding any other changes.
Media server: CF and form-based distauth do not run together; will deploy Windows and WIndows-based code with new distauth and then integrate with AFS.
CREST - Chris
Working on user support documentation for CREST; simplifying instructions to list only the easiest, best practice, methods for usage rather than all possible methods.
Facilities: Asked Erin to test in preparation for going to production. Need to pull data from old system on switchover, i.e., need to get facilities data in old system to new system to be ready for Winter release.
Faculty Support/Training - Dave
Some confusion after winter course updates on CERE: VMD430 - users going to Winter quarter by mistake; it's a core course so all students get enrolled, students didn't notice the difference in the tab (W06 vs. F06)
