Testing saunders as a caje replacement under load (sakai_external schema)

  • Deploy https://mware.ucdavis.edu/svn/ucd-sakai/ucd-database/ on saunders (sakai_external)

  • DB Configuration:

    • Set optimizer_index_cost_adj to 100

    • Set _KEEP_REMOTE_COLUMN_SIZE to FALSE

    • Using MViews and Views

  • Load Test:

    • Application Server: sakai-dev (stubing)

    • Database: saunders (for sakai and sakai_external)

    • Load Test Definition:

      • Script: SmartsiteViewing.bdf

      • Workload Configuration:

        • Starting Users: 25

        • Increment Users by: 5

        • Increment time: 15s

        • Max/Total Users: 100

      • Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
