Evaluation

QA issue: Jan is experiencing a timeout issue with evaluation forms on the my server while testing the evaluation code.
Ray will provide additional student users for the eval course for additional testing.
Discussion of test environment and testing data needed for local development.

Scott's update: Scott and Phil are working on the instructor view. The four issues brought up from testing the Student view are now addressed.

Note regarding evaluation timeout after 20 minutes: It is desirable to have an alert prior to timeout and/or a data save prior to timeout for users who are distracted during the evaluation taking process.

Note on future features: Possibility of needing a campus/institution-level evaluation question in the future exists.

Scott will promote evaluation authoring/administration code to production once Jan approves current design/function. Jan is the course leader for 4 of the pilot courses.

Taking evaluation: requires more QA

Chris has done a run-through. Feedback note: course template only showed questions, not the evaluatee once the evauation has started. Preview needs to display the evaluatee. Need visibility of evaluatees at admin level.

Limitations on edit by date of release to be implemented in v1.5 release, e.g., preventing the ability to edit text on questions post release.

Approximately 390 unique students will be submitting evaluations in the fall pilot.

Programming

Beau and Scott looking into possibility of Sakai v2.2 conversion to determine impact on current localized code.

CREST --> CERE

Keith: Updates are in place; superuser code done; will need to make changes to Application.cfm; parsing for import mostly done.

SCHEDULING

Chris: schedule rights, UI for Erin and other admin to use for approval of requested events; conflict resolution for in scheduler and CERE for a class event using download PDA piece?
Need some tweaks due to multiple data storage of same data.
