EVALUATIONS

Chris - Writing queries to analyze results from Sakai data; he will determine the data tables/views needed based on custom requirements for reporting. He will use Flex for report display.
There are complications introduced due to dealing with new questions and their results.
How do questions relate to each other? How do we successfully do trend analysis over time?
Comparing data over generational changes due to changes in the question text? Comparisons of overall course results?

USER ISSUES

Recent issue of students dissappearing from their course. Users were still listed in the roster and were enrolled, but students could not see the tab for the course or join it.
Troubleshooting found that all permissions for all roles in the course were reset to false. Site.visit value is the setting which allows access. Scott had to manually change the values for the students in the database. Phil reports that the issue is a critical jira (collab)

Other issues:
User issues with Faculty putting Resources in My Workspace wondering why students cannot see the materials.

Quiz & Test Issues:
Jan/Ray held a discussion re: issues with graded quizzes --> grades to gradebook

Rick/Dave - Podcasts and enhanced podcasts up. Enhanced are podcasts with audio and ppt/text screens synced up; small but effective. Some courses use podcasting to deliver existing videos; for example, created some for Bob Favorite's course, using mpeg4.
