SSWG Agenda - 2009-11-24

Everyone,
Thank you for volunteering to participate in UCD's Software Standards Work Group.  I expect we'll pick up more members over time, but I think we have a quorum. 
I've asked Kathy Beyer to schedule an hour and a half for our first meeting.  Here's a proposed agenda:

• Review of our charge and work plan.  https://confluence.ucdavis.edu/confluence/x/FIk_AQ
• Platform strategy.  As we've discussed, platform matters in some circumstances and not in others.  I think a good first step for us would be to describe those circumstances.
• Frequency and format of future meetings.  My original thinking was to have monthly meetings of around 1-2 hours in length.  It's also been suggested that we have longer meetings, perhaps retreats, on specific topics.

and a listproc, SSWG@ucdavis.edu, has been created.  I'll create a section on the wiki for materials related to our discussion of platform strategy.
