  • We will try to find a regular time and place for our monthly meetings.  For the next couple of months, though, we may need to continue with ad hoc scheduling.
  • Agendas will be considered draft until the meeting itself.  Meeting notes will be considered draft until the next meeting.
  • David Walker will be presenting the SSWG platform recommendations to the IT Roadmap Coordinating Council on March 31.  The importance of interoperability, as opposed to platform will be stressed.  Assuming time, the work plan will also be presented.

SSWG Work Plan for 2010

  • The SSWG Work Plan for 2010 was discussed.
  • It was agreed that the first and third items (core system interface standards, and issues of sharing and reuse) were most important, along with establishing a standards process.  We will address other standards, as they are identified to be needed.
  • The first "core" system for which we will develop interface standards will be the new Identity and Access Management system.  After that, we'll look at Rice and data warehouse / data exchange standards.

DRAFT 200-45 Grading Rubric

  • The DRAFT 200-45 Grading Rubric was discussed.
  • This is a very good list of issues that should be considered when developing, purchasing, or deploying an application.  It could be a lot of work, though, both to document how the issues are address, and to evaluate.
  • It was agreed to recast the rubric as guidance for people who are developing, purchasing or deploying applications, rather than as a template for the 200-45 process.
  • It was agreed that a section should be added for quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC).
  • Chris and Tom agreed to work with Jeremy (who was not at the meeting) to recast the document and add a section for QA/QC.  We'll review the modified draft at our April meeting.
