SSWG Agenda - 2010-05-19

Everyone,

A quick reminder that our next SSWG meeting is Wednesday, May 19, 1:00-2:30, PES 2005.

I met with the Administrative IT Roadmap Coordinating Council on April 30.  They were very happy with the work we are doing, and we had a good discussion of the platform document.  As a follow-on, they would like us to give them some material to help them advocate it with UCD management.

Most of what they need can be accomplished with some minor restructuring of the document, but they'd also like some information on costs.  So, I propose we make that our primary topic on Wednesday.  Here's a draft agenda:

• Summary of the April 30 IT Roadmap Coordinating Council meeting.
• Brainstorm a cost model for IT systems that can be used to highlight cost differences for different platforms.

My goal would be to end with a reasonably complete cost model, but not necessarily with all of the specific costs, as some of them may require research.  Jeremy, my memory is that you started a spreadsheet for this at the end of one of our meetings of the past few months; do you still have that?
