QA 2.4.1 Test Plan for Chat

To test Chat functionality, we will be reviewing a couple of courses with large volumes of chat messages on smartsite-test.
These are real chats copied to the test system - please use discretion regarding any comments or content you read.

Only QA testers with SU capabilities can run through this test.

SU as one of the Instructors in the bolded course sites and access the course.
Access "All Messages" and verify that you can see all the messages.
Locate a student in the course, logout, and SU as the student after login.
Access "All Messages" and verify that you can see all the messages.
Add a message to Chat.
Repeat these steps for all courses in bold.
Select a couple of other course sites (as time allows) from the table listed above and repeat this test.
