Troubleshooting Dining iPads
When troubleshooting dining iPads, you may come across the following errors. If these error messages display, the transaction has not processed.
Unsuccessful: Low Balance: There is not enough Aggie Cash to cover total transaction. Have customer contact Meal Card Office.
Unsuccessful: Account Invalid: customer does not have a meal plan that supports Aggie Cash. Have customer contact Meal Card Office.
Unsuccessful: Invalid Transaction: Web sales app does not support the type of transaction performed. Have customer contact Meal Card Office.
Not on System: The customer’s card # does not match any accounts in the system. Have customer contact Meal Card Office.
Bad Issue Number: The customer’s card # matches an old card that is no longer active in the system. Have customer contact Meal Card Office.
Card Swiped: Card reader recognized a card was swiped however web sales did not process. if message still displays after performing basic troubleshooting steps:
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take
Check that the card reader is connected
Check that you are connected to Eduroam Wi-Fi and Cellular connection is turned on
Check that no other app(s) are open
Exit odyssey web sales and log back in – there are two places both use the same information
From the Odyssey app: Settings Credentials enter username and password
From the Odyssey app: Home page enter username and password
Meal Equivalency only accepted at Sage St. Café & Market for students on the Green 9 Swipes per week. No exceptions.
For errors related to customer meal plan card/account refer them to the Meal Card Office, Segundo Service Center, 3rd Floor, RM3100, so their issue can be resolved.
