How to check in a resident

  1. Lookup the resident (https://ucdavis.jira.com/l/cp/p0DiFsJk )

  2. Verify their Security Password using the Service Desk Security Password Hint

  3. Check their Room information → Take note of whether they’re in a Lenel or Onity room

  4. If they have their Aggie card → Click Activate Aggie Card

    1. Onity rooms need their card encoded → Insert Aggie card into Onity encoder before activating

    2. Lenel rooms do not need an encoder

  5. If they do not have their Aggie card → Issue a Temp Card

    1. Onity rooms must use the Activate using Temp Card highlighted in orange → Insert Temp card into Onity encoder before activating

    2. Lenel rooms should use Issue Temporary Card (MSR) but can also use Activate using Temp Card if necessary

  6. Onity rooms can use their card within 15 minutes while Lenel rooms can take up to 15-30 minutes.
