How to Request Access to StarRez

If you are a manager requesting StarRez access on behalf of a new hire or other staff member, please provide the following in your helpdesk request:

  1. A copy of the FERPA certificate indicating the new hire or staff member has completed and passed the FERPA training. The FERPA certificate can be attached to the request or you can provide a link to a certificate stored in Box or OneDrive. The certificate must be provided as a PDF document.

  2. A completed StarRez Access Request form. Click this link to download a copy. If you perfer not to download from this link, we’ll be happy to attach one to your request.

  3. Please copy Sarah E. Greenhalgh in the request.

If you are a new hire or staff member requesting StarRez access for yourself, please copy your manager on the helpdesk request to provide affirmative approval.

 

Once you have access to StarRez, you can access it from this link: https://ucdavis.starrezhousing.com/StarRezWeb/dashboard/562 Make sure to use Staff SSO option to log in.

How to Print Your FERPA Certificate as a PDF

  • Go to https://lms.ucdavis.edu (UCDLogin required).

  • Near the top of your homepage, click the "Transcript and Certificates" icon.

     

  • Click on the diploma icon next to the course title to access and print your certificate.

  • In the certificate window, click Export to PDF.

     

  • Send this PDF to your manager or attach to your access request, along with the completed access request form.
