Project
Virtual Autopsy using game technology for visualization and thinkmap technology for content presentation.
Description
Create a Virtual Autopsy with emphasis on pathological findings.
Treatment
Experience an Autopsy Room in a 3D world. Interact with instruments and features in the environment.
View images and videos of procedures and organs in actual autopsies.
Study a super-sized 3D cardiac artery and discover the pathology from a selection of cases.
Content
Case study material for heart pathologies
Reference photography for textures and models to build in SecondLife
- autopsy room
- individual instruments, fixtures, furnishings, etc.
- pathology cases and photography
- reference illustration for heart
- reference drawings for additonal objects to build in SecondLife

- research interactive autopsy with thinkmap programmers
Future Version Development
Experience an interactive autopsy.
Experience other super-sized 3D organs for pathologies.
Build searchable "museum of pathology" collection from photography and video archives.
