QA Test Plan for Gradebook 2.5 Release

QA Test Plan for Gradebook 2.5 Release

UC Davis Participation in Gradebook Release Testing

UC Davis is actively participating in the development of Sakai's Gradebook in 2007 in the following roles:

  • Kirk Alexander, SmartSite Project Manager is serving as Project Coordinator for the current Gradebook cycle

  • UC Davis is committing QA resources to testing for the current Gradebook cycle

  • UC Davis will be an early adopter of Gradebook versions (may run outside the Sakai release cycle)

Collaborative efforts for Gradebook development and QA efforts are available under Project: Gradebook.

QA Test Plan

The overall test plan goal is to ensure that new functionality with Gradebook 2.5 release meets the needs of UC Davis faculty. The assessment of failure or success will be based on real-life usage of the current MyUCDavis Gradebook. We will build stories based on that usage and test against those stories. In addition, we will perform function tests against the specifications defined for Gradebook 2.5.
