Description

Bomgar is a Customer Support tool for chat support, remote access to clients' computers, and system administration. It can be accessed by our clients at http://support.ucdavis.edu or http://itexpress.ucdavis.edu. The Bomgar Representative Console is used to interact with clients' machines. Once your account for Bomgar has been established you will need to login first here: https://support.ucdavis.edu/login and proceed to download the Bomgar Representative Console for your respective Operating System.

Escalation Path

All escalations service or account related should go to IET Service Management who can then resolve or triage appropriately. 

Access Requirements

The Bomgar administrator will need to create a user account through the Bomgar Administration Console. The Bomgar Representative Console must also be installed on the technician's machine. The Bomgar console may be downloaded/installed by logging into Bomgar > Bomgar Representative Console.

Bomgar Procedures
