This how to explains the steps needed to make changes to a Cisco VOIP phone. These changes include changing a display name.

Desk phones at Student Housing and Dining Services are managed by Facilities and not CSG. To request a change to your phone please have a manager submit a Tririga request for the change. A manager needs to submit this request because many of these changes incur a fee and a charge code needs to be included in the request.

The most common requests that incur a fee include:

  • Activating a New Phone

  • Changing a display name or telephone number

  • Adding a second line

  • Setting up Jabber

  • Setting up an analog line for a fax machine
