Central Authentication Service (CAS) is an authentication mechanism as well as an enterprise single sign-on server for web applications.

I don't think this necessarily needs to change, but here is a possible change:

Central Authentication Service (CAS) is an authentication mechanism as well as an enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) server for web applications that can also be paired with Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) technologies.

 

Shibboleth IT Catalog Entry -

The Short entry description found here: http://itcatalog.ucdavis.edu/category/accounts-passwords is currently this:

Shibboleth federated single sign-on authentication service is a standards-based, open source software package for web single sign-on across or within organizational boundaries.

Possible change:

Shibboleth is a federated Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication service that can be paired with Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for web application across or within organizational boundaries.

I think we only need to add a bullet point under Features/Benefits:

Ability to integrate with MFA technologies such as Duo

Duo in the bullet point should be a link to the Duo service page: http://itcatalog.ucdavis.edu/service/duo-multi-factor-authentication
