CAS 4.2.x Load Testing

Setup 

Tests were performed using JMeter from a laptop located at 260 Cousteau.  The CAS servers tested against were ssodev1.ucdavis.edu and ssodev2.ucdavis.edu that are both located off site.  This allows us to test some network latency and also does not put extra load of perform tests and aggregating results of those tests on the servers themselves.

Test 1

This test was done against a single instance of CAS running on ssodev1.  200 users were logged in, granted a service, validated that service ticket, then logged the user out. 

Test 2

   This test was performed against two CAS Servers.  Each server logged in 200 users, and granted service tickets to each user.  The service validate was then done against the other CAS server to test Hazelcast replication.

Test 3

This test was performed by logging in 1000 users onto a single CAS server, granting a Service Ticket, Validating Service Ticket on Second CAS server.  Then in Separate thread group logging all users out.
