A. Problem to be Solved

SmartSite is moving out of the pilot phase and is scheduled for campus wide release in the fall of 2007 and scheduled to replace MyUCDavis at the same time in 2008. It needs a comphrehensive set of communications to publicize its adoption as UC Davis' course management system.

B. Proposed Approach

  • Create a comprehensive set of metrics to collect data about the project.
  • Develop and implement a marketing/publicity campaign that is geared toward producing quantitative results.

C. Services Provided

By promoting SmartSite, IET is raising awareness about new educational technology that will assist the campus in fullfill its mission of research, teaching and outreach.
