How to setup your Intune device

Congratulations on getting your new Intune windows 11 Computer!!!

Let setup your new computer

Turn on your computer and select the language and keyboard language

Connect to internet via Ethernet or Wi-Fi

Now your device will update and be Intune ready, Give it a minute

Let’s sign with your @ucdavis.edu email address

Ounce you type in your @ucdavis.edu email address you will be sent to the UC Davis page to type in your password (hint: this is your Kerberos password)

Now you need to authenticate using DUO

Now that you have signed in. The following will happen, please be patient

The following will take anywhere between 20 to 60 minutes depending on your internet connection

Ounce your computer reaches the Account Setup, you will be prompted to sign in. please use your @ucdavis.edu email as your username and password

Once you sign in your account will begin to setup and the previous page will reappear

Your computer is ready, congrats!

Now let’s setup your fingerprint and pin. Remember it will only prompt you to setup your fingerprint if that option is available.

For your pin setup it will need to be 6 numbers but can’t be 123456 or 112233.

You will need to sign in using your Kerberos credentials when setting your pin

Congratulations you have setup you’re your Intune Computer Now you can start using it!
