Faculty Profiles

Goal: Collect faculty feedback on:

  • Basic reasons for change and UC Davis' involvement in the Sakai initiative;
  • New system's interface, tools and features
    • Introduction of WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editing;
    • Drag and drop functionality from the desktop
    • File storage (250MB?)
    • Assignments tool
    • Web Content tool with its ability to integrate a Web site into a list of tools;
    • Communication tools
      *Gauge faculty reluctance (incl. pilot participants and peers)
    • Are there tools and capabilities important to them that are not yet available?
    • Is the new system intuitive?
