Match KIM for Update Process

This process takes the Update records that were identified in the Match KIM to IAM people process and determines if there have been any updates to the information stored on KIM.

• Email is matched on Entity_Id and Email_Type ("WRK", "HS", "OTH") to determine changes, deletions or additions.
• Employee/Affiliations are matched on Entity_Id, Affiliation_Type ("FCLTY",  "STAFF", "STDNT", "AFLT" ) to determine changes, deletions or additions.
  • If Employee number or primary department code is blank then the record is not updated (so we don't remove employee information about employees that have  left or are leaving).
• Name, Address, and Phone are matched on Entity_Id to determine changes, deletions or additions.

While things are "noted" for deletion, nothing is actually deleted, they are written to a file for the possibility of deletion in the future.
