Sakai Content Migration meeting 9/26/06

Zack - Modifying the feature in site info for importing BB5.5 archive
File format for internal archive is Sakai's out of the box.

Joshua - BB7 and Moodle parsers, assessment handling top-level

navigation tool in webtool

Lisa - UI for question pool integration

Lance - re:Michele's work. Faculty want a practice site, archive and

then import the content into their course site. Including

assignments, schedule, etc. - status, ie draft vs active
Addressing tools that do not currently participate in archive

2.3 integration includes assessment support, in QA/debug now
Review Confluence documentation

Possibly meet on early Tuesday or late Friday/early Saturday
Mark will let us know

Mark - packaging up Sakai content for exchange within Sakai and with

other systems

At least 2 different areas of focus, ie, archive for course to course

migration w/in Sakai and Course Cartridge for external content

migration into Sakai

Steve Githens has done some work w/archive already

Unicon (Mark?) - Course Cartridge information model internal release
QTI 2.1/1.2?

IMS Content Hosting and Resources group

Next steps - migration, creating archives, common cartridge

(packages), OCW-sharable objects, question pools?
