- 7-9-08 nw you should split this up, as they are TWO separate tools. anyway, forums has a number of oddities and foibles, but they are also there in 2.4. ie7 seems to have a problem printing properly in both versions (chapter 272). it also has a problem w/a powerpoint icon (chapter 272)
- if you make a change in forums (re-order, add a topic, etc) it can take a LONG time to show for someone else logged in...say I made a change as IOR in firefox and was also in as a student in ie7. multiple refreshes didn't reflect the change for the student. in fact, sometimes I had to logout/in for the change to be reflected. no big deal if most of the forum activity doesn't take place in real time.

- 7-2-08 nw something I find really irritating but it's in 2.4 also. on the settings page is an option to open all the settings options. of you open them they should STAY open. making changes to some of the parameters closes all the options. assessment organization and feedback, for example. so you have to re-open them to continue editing them/
