QA Test Plan - Upgrade 2.4.x to 2.5.x
Test Plan for upgrading SmartSite 2.4.x to 2.5.x. Testing structure is broken down below:
- Simple functionallity Test - preliminary functionallity testing to confirm syetem testing readiness
- v2.4.x Regression Tests - general regression tests for key Smartsite tools
- v2.4.x Patches - patch tests for maintenance and fixes
- v2.4.x UCD-specific User-Interface - user interface and content tests
- v2.4.x UCD-specific Code Integration - integration of UCD-specific functionality, such as integrating UCD data providers with course management features and final grade submission
- v2.5.x Enhancement and Features - new enhansements and features in existing tools or new tools
Smartsite 2.5.x Upgrade Notes:
Of special note are the Jiras linked to SAK-1420, the QA Test Plan for Smartsite 2.4.1 summer upgrade. This upgrade includes Assignments post-2.4 and Gradebook 2.5 as well as general and specific enhancements and bug fixes for key tools. The testing period for this upgrade was 7/23/07 - 8/17/07.

Smartsite 2.4.x Head Upgrade
Jiras linked to SAK-998, the QA Test Plan for Smartsite 2.4.x Head upgrade. This upgrade includes fixes to a number of key tools including Resources, Assignments, Gradebook, Messages, Forums, and Chat. The testing period for this upgrade is 9/4/07 - 9/19/07.
