Recent issue of students dissappearing from their course. Users were still listed in the roster and were enrolled, but students could not see the tab for the course or join it.
All Troubleshooting found that all permissions for all roles in the course were reset to false. Site.visit value is the setting which allows access. Scott had to manually change the values for the students in the database.
Phil reports that the issue is a critical jira (collab)
