LabelView Client Install
LabelView Client Install and License Setup
We purchase the LABELVIEW Pro Network 5-User 1-Year Subscription. It usually expires over the summer in July, at which time we need to renew. We purchase from CDW-G normally but may try SHI in the future for a quicker turnaround.
This software is used in the CSC by 4 computers located there (Primary users are: Bob Walden, Debbie Bonovich, Sous Chef, and the CSC Student workstation).
There is a security group (SH-US-Labelview) in AD that gives the primary users access to the licensing folder which is hosted on SH-DIN-PRINTSVR, which is where the Labelview Network License Manager is installed.
After you Install the Labelview software on a workstation, and before launching, you need to configure it to use a Network License and specify the server location.
Launch the LabelView Network Administrator app.
Click “Use Network License” and specify the path to SH-DINPRINTSVR
Select OK to import the Admin Config file, then click OK to exit the Network Administrator.
Upgrading the License
This is done yearly on SH-DIN-PRINTSVR
Start the TEKLYNX “Network Toolbar”
When running, it will be located in the task bar quick launch. You can right click it to bring up them menu.
To upgrade the license, click the “License upgrade” option (3rd from the left)
If you need to transfer the license to another server, use the “License Manager” option.
Printing
LabelView utilizes the two ZT410 Zebra Label printers installed in the CSC. The drivers are installed locally on each workstation utilizing the Zebra Setup Utilities (ZT 410 Print under \\vulcan\master\Labelview )
Use the Zdesigner ZT410-203dpiZPL driver
Printer names and IP addresses:
SH-DIN-CSC-ZT410: 169.237.170.42
SH-DIN-CSC-ZT410 2: 169.237.170.35
Need to add a new LAN port
The labels that the CSC uses are located @ \\vulcan\dining\Commissary\LabelView
where do we see the changes?
