SmartSite Brochure Overview

During the 07-08 transition year, the SmartSite team needs a brochure to provide a first point of contact and quick reference for new and current users.

This brochure should provide the following information:

• Who is supporting/leading the SmartSite Project
• Where to get help/training.
• An overview of the concept behind SmartSite (possibly a graphic) emphasizing SmartSite as a platform/central place to gather resources and tools for solving specific teaching, work and communications tasks. "How do you use SmartSite?"
• A quick reference/outline displaying the tools transitioning from MyUCDavis to SmartSite, where to get help with migrating content, clarify any worries about data being lost.

Proposed Project Plan

• Establish a project and advisory team
• Brainstorm content ideas/angles, consult previous communications, develop content
• Share proposed content and graphics mock up
• Revise content and graphics as needed
• Layout a first draft
• Circulate first draft for comments
• Finalize layout
• Get final approvals
• Send to press.
