Ray made note that developers who are thinking of providing code to the Sakai collaborative community should sign the Office of President & Sakai Foundation Intellectual Property agreement.
Evaluations Status - Scott/Phil
Evaluation authoring code is now in QA. Code for taking the evaluation is currently in development. Additional work will be done on the evaluation UI - the student view is mostly done, instructor view is currently in development.
Phil is done with the authoring templates, and will be moving on to test taking.
Evaluation admin tool permissions: in regards to user access to the evaluation authoring environment. Access to capability to create templates and/or evaluations based on user and date information. Template access may be school-level or department-level. Permissions set limitations on template creation and editing based on date for the current stage in the evaluation process as specified by VetMed.
Student view for list of evals available based on their classes. Phil working out final GUI changes for authoring.
Template initialization, evaluation creation are date-based. Not editable after release.
Version 1 release for Fall 2006; additional changes for future versions after initial run.
Final list of pilot eval courses: VMD 406, VMB 475, VMD 433, VMD 415 A-B-C, Nutrition 116A
Session dropping issue. Also Hibernate dtd problems. Intermittent, difficult to resolve. Scott posting to dev list re: issues w/Hibernate 3 and Sakai 2-1-2x.

Room management for events; allowing conflicts to be stored so that users can review rather than preventing conflicts
Sakai Training - Rick/Dave
Migration of content. Issue w/storing content as pop-up or I-frame access as non-resizeable. Faculty adapting to new system.
Servers - Beau
2-1-2x patches needed due to bugs in gradebook, assignments, etc.
Need to coordinate testing patches while current work on eval.
