UCOP Web Accessibility Testing Tools Evaluation Project (8/1/2009 - 1/31/2010)

Pilot Mission

  • Determine if Ramp Ascend and Worldspace add value to UC's efforts to increase accessibility of our web sites.
  • Determine if a commercial tool have functionality beyond what's available in free tools that you may have tried. Is it enough to warrant a purchase?
  • Identify missing functionality by:
    • Evaluating existing sites
    • Remediating existing sites
    • Assisting in the creation of new sites

UC Davis Pilot testers

  • Rick Hill: Engineering/University Communications
  • Lisa Johnston: IET - ADDA
  • Karl Krist: ANR - Communication Services
  • Jeremy Postlethwaite: Publications
